Children
We have a children's maze, and our printable children's treasure hunt is attached below.
The adventure playground (for children under 12) managed by Bearsted Parish Council is very popular.
The Playground is fenced, but other BWT land, like any other large public open space surounded by roads, cannot possibly be entirely child proof. Un-shut gates, and gaps in hedges and fences made by foxes and rabbits will always be a risk, so please keep an eye on young children.
During the pandemic in 2020 children made "Cyril the snake" with painted stones in the Oak Avenue.
There are picnic tables in the main field, but we cannot offer toilet facilities.
