In October 2010 on the cinder path near the main entrance, Miss Elizabeth Vickers saw a hairy turquoise caterpillar about 1.5 inches long with large round yellow spots.
She picked it up carefully on a piece of paper and released it in the nearby thicket.
Checking her 'Collins Field Guide, Insects' she saw that the nearest likeness was the 'Lacky Moth' but it didn't have any yellow spots.
