In Spring the woodland flowers appear before the shade of the canopy denies them sunshine.
One very tiny one is hard to find, but worth searching for in the low lying wet areas by the Lilk.
It is Moschatel, of "Town Hall Clock" names because its flowers grown in groups of five; four at right angles to each other, like the four faces of town clock, and the fifth on top.
