2007; Fund-Raising

In 2007 a huge publicity effort was made to ensure as many votes in the People's Millions Competition as we possibly could.  We had smooth paths on the area near the main entrance, but only a very steep old footpath down to the new bridge and up again into Gore Meadow.  New smooth paths on steep gradients meant major work and great expence, but happily, we won enough votes, and the grant was going to make the work possible!
