Bearsted Woodland Trust’s car park is currently closed, pending new work on its surface.
Situated via the track to Gore Cottage off the A20 (Ashford Road), it opened last year, providing free parking for visitors to the popular attraction seven days a week.
The new car park began to take shape in 2022 when volunteers helped lay a plastic surface at the site. Following this, trees were planted next to the area to form Jubilee Wood.
